I find myself wanting to kill time by using my phone and scrolling, even Lemmy, and realizing it's not doing anything for me. Just a comfort scroll. I think I'll probably kick the social media/scrolling habit completely within the next year.
It's an irrelevant question leading into a off topic point that you'd like to make. If you'd like to deliver a point, go ahead and comment it. Not my job to try and land your point for you though.
I'm confused by the whole comment line. Do I seem like I'm outraging, or have any strong opinions any way that needs to be clarified?
What a strange and leading question.
I don't know shit about this band/this type of music... is it actually the kind of music that only Nazis would listen to?
Like, if someone leaked a Pantera fan list, I guess I wouldn't be on the wagon to ruin all their lives, even though Pantera is pretty well known for racism, shouting White Power and Nazi sautes n shit.
if you didn't know about Pantera
Death, taxes and this post on Lemmy
It's a volunteer poll on the Economist. It's wild how excited people are to believe shit like this and use it to talk shit about other people.
You must be a car driving capitalist tankie to be hatting on this place.
jk, I definitely agree. This place is way more radicalized than Reddit, or at least it isn't nearly as diluted by bots so it seems more prominent.. Some dope people around here but I'm definitely losing hope that this place will grow into a cool place.
It's all the same topic posts and the same hateful comments, but you can't even find small active communities to get away from it.
Oh I hate this argument.
With an election year next year, politics is about to get shoe horned into everything with the "(insert subject) is politics" is justification.
I think most people think of technology as scientific based rather than social media trends and events.
How do you think even/odd detectors work? A team of coders has been working on this else if for years...
If you want to help
It's weird that this is a link to the exact same 25 day old post on the same community.
Not going to lie, I really hate when the internet gets a new favorite phrase. Destroys discussion on the subjects and feels like it's a race for commenters to say the hit phrase.
