I love when something is sung in a lower, more calm register and towards the end when things get fast the same thing is said but with a higher octave and more energy like it's so exciting it feels like character development but for music

At the time (which was over a year ago 👵) it was the only Lemmy instance that didn't have a verification process and I was impatient but I stayed for the community and really like it here!

For me it was Jeff Kinney. I was meeting a different author I love, but there wasn't enough room downstairs and we had to go up. Turns out that's exactly where Jeff Kinney works! He's the author who got me into reading so I thought that was so cool
