For me the apps just ain't worth it so I got rid of them. There's a whole sense of commodification abiut that that's just awful and I find I'm happier without them.

As an owner of a 13 I really like it. I only use it mostly as a YouTube and email machine while most ofy heavy duty work is on a desktop but it does well enough running popos. They are a bit pricey to buy new thiugh so either get one of the older one used or go the used think pad route for a similarly repairable experience.

Likewise in the UK for standard wage workers. Only gets more complicated if you have investments outside and ISA or multiple sources of non-labour income.

Even just halving a population of a speices isn't actually all that much in cases where they aren't already threatened. In humanity's case it would drive set our population levels all the way back to the distant and barbaric times of the 1970s.
