It was made by 2 North Dakota dads at the request of their wives. It took just a couple of years for the idea to take off, marketing the product to scools. It was then sold to Smuckers in 2003. So the pitch probably went something like, "you two are inventors, can't you make this easy sandwich.... easier?"

My guy, you don't have to go so hard. All I was trying to say is if you listen to their music you'll find that their whole shtick and major inspiration is kung fu movies. Many of the samples in their songs are from old kung fu movies.

That's the fun part! Factoid kind of became a factoid (I know there's an actual etymological term for this but I can't remember it) I believe its original definition was an assumption thats circulated enough its assumed as fact. ie many "wives tales" But now the definition you gave has been assumed so much it has become fact! See? Fun!
