I'm getting really close to just not using the internet anymore. I only use it to stream movies, and doom scroll lemmy right now, anyway. The only reason I have an email is for spam. Take awake the only facade of privacy I have and I may as well hang it all up and walk away.
I'll just stay inside my mango box, thanks.
I'm still waiting on proof for any of these allegations. So far it's just been people suing for the sake of suing and hoping they strike gold. If anyone can point to any evidence at all (read: not hearsay) then I'll gladly review it, but as it stands, its nothing.
Every day we stray further from lemmy's light...
For real. I didn't know that tugboats were capable of making trips like that. Or, maybe they aren't, and this is why...
Edit: I just read the wiki. Apparently there is an age limit on ships that pass through the Suez Canal. I suppose that makes sense. Feels like risky business towing an old ass ship half way around the world just to turn it into a hotel.
Just to give a little bit more to the previous comment. If you go in with the right mentality, you may enjoy it more. The book isn't character driven, it is a book of ideas. You have to be invested in the "world" and be curious about how things will play out on a very large scale. If you go in looking for a hero and a villain, you won't really find one. What's there is a concept and its execution. It's a long form thought-problem, for better or worse. Personally, I love it, but if you don't, then you dont.
That's because the cover has at least a minor relation to the source material.
Just put it in a paper bag with a banana for a few days.
That's still 15 miles per hour.
People that say that have never used AI art generation apps and are only regurgitating what they hear from other people who are doing the same. The amount of arm chair AI denialists is astronomical.
