They're two separate things. That's the idea, a clutch is a disconnect between the engine and transmission.

A really good driver only uses the clutch to start and stop.

Anyway, another of my comments got removed without explanation, I'll just see myself out of this misinfo echo chamber that can't understand why people don't post here.

I had great hopes for the fediverse idea, but the same human greed issues, like mastodon selling iut to Meta, and zealous moderation, like whatever happened to my comment and another one before that complaing about the Mudrocks and Musk.

Bon chance, fedi.

Try driving an 18-speed truck transmission without the clutch.

Who's stupid?

Raymond Chandler's novels, esp The Lady in the Lake

The Pirx the Pilot stories, 8 in 2 volumes

Dashiell Hammett's The Maltese Falcon and The Glass Key

2nd the Hitchhiker's Guide and they're easy to rejoin

A A Fair's novels are short and have odd western us lore in them, one has a great way to bet in Vegas, others name spots in Mexico, they were Gardner's fun books that he liked to write more than other series.

I'd like to find a small bluetooth keyboard with mechanical switches that I could use with both my.phone and my 2009 MBP running MX. I need stowable and chargeable with C.

I have time, where would I find a kit for something like that?

Gamestop seems to be releasing competitive options right now.

Jawbone headsets used to be like that. When they were still in business. They made good headsets, but introduced this feature as well to change certain settings.

Apparently that wasn't taught in business schools.

I know someone who can fix all of their stuff, and they can't understand that book.

SANTA FE –Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham today announced a new initiative to encourage medical professionals in Texas to consider relocating to New Mexico.

The “Free to Provide” campaign includes the deployment of billboards and full-page advertisements in five major Texas newspapers to highlight New Mexico’s commitment to protecting the full spectrum of health care, including abortion access.

In July, six billboards with the slogan “Free to Provide” were placed in strategic locations around the Houston Medical Center encouraging healthcare professionals to consider relocating to New Mexico. On Sunday, the campaign expanded to include full-page ads in the Houston Chronicle, Dallas Morning News, San Antonio Express-News, Austin American-Statesman and Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

I'm aware there already are modded versions that many use, but it's more obvious than ever that Mozilla is toast.

Let them eat cake, said the Baker.

Distros should be pivoting to LibreWolf, etc. Let Firefox become the next open office.
