This will definitely cause pause amongst the non-cost sunk companies. They will be wondering what Apple knows.

IMO this signals the lack of clear ROI versus maintenance costs. Silicone Valley is used to funding huge projects like Amazon which took years to choke out the competition and make money. But AI is a new market which is more interesting to investors than people who didn’t want it in their mouse.

Growing up rural there were lots of troubled kids everyone basically ignored. Nothing would get through to them so their outbursts were basically ignored. One kid has a tic where he’d yell “yee haw, stick it in your grandma!”. Over and over.

Also political considerations. If Boeing fails to bring the astronauts home then there will be likely many many test that need to be passed before they get another crewed mission contract. They are already +$1B in the hole because of past problems. It might be that they could not afford to continue with their space program. A loss for Boeing, a loss for NASA diversity.

Logically just burning up the capsule makes sense but the fall out likely has multi multi billions of dollars in the balance.

Would love him doing a live stream at the same time, with the same rules, just to flex

Leonardo pulls something out of his ass and throws it at a horrified Michelangelo

Edit: corrected names and apologized to my 7 year old self

Why? Is what they were missing from being a tolerant human a little advertising?

Production out pacing demand is a bad sign. Tesla has burned through all the early adopters (who are generally more forgiving) and they way more competition. They need to go after the early majority population.

Also, Elon is no longer charming. Like it or not it matters. No one can name a CEO of another car company so there less a 1:1 correlation between Elon alienating people and a brand.

And regarding the “hardly disastrous” metric, it only matters versus your competition because is measures relative performance to what was available. Taken on its own is meaningless.

“No shit” we’re the first words in my head too. Will be buying electric in the summer and the list starts with anything-but-Tesla.
