I print a temp tower for every new brand I get and save that as a profile. Has worked fine for me for years

I use BTN and RED as backups for Usenet, otherwise I don’t use torrents

As far as I’m aware lemmy does not support load balancing or high availability as it currently stands. But development is still in its infancy and I’m sure that’s a top priority

Taking the screws out and re-torquing them correctly seems to fix that, at least it did for me.

If they’re following tenancy laws to the T (which most rental corporations do as it’s in their best interests) there’s not much you can do. If the pool/hot tub is in your tenancy agreement you might be able to use that for leverage, but if it isn’t and access is just given as a “perk” then not much you can do there either. People can’t really give you advice without knowing where you live, either.

Thrifting. I’m always finding really cool stuff I can either use or resell for a profit

Your ISP may still have a Usenet server going, but it’s unlikely. Best bet is getting a block account or waiting for a $3-5/month unlimited sale

The warranty is transferable though. If it’s still within the 1 year manufacturer warranty valve will still warranty it, as long as it hasn’t been reported stolen

That’s likely down to your ISPs peering. A 50mbps upload can handle flac with ease, before I had fibre I had 30mbps up and streamed flacs over Plex at work all the time with no issues. Have you checked your Plex amp settings? It’s supposed to cache a few songs, so there shouldn’t be any noticeable gap in song playback
