Bruh I'm a British Turk.

I get mad when Germans try to bullshit they invented the döner kebab. The roots of those curries are based on recipes from the Indian subcontinent.

John Curry did not invent the tikka masala in Kent, the same way the döner kebab was not invented by Hans Döner in Stuttgart

Did an ethnically British person invent the chicken tikka masala and phall, or was it an immigrant from the Indian subcontinent or one of their kids/grandchildren?

to be honest, we need to rotate somewhere, away from the metropolitan cities and create a place that is livable and affordable and one day allow it to become a metropolitan city where we can profit off of owning a home

sure, the boomers can fuck off and live in the middle of fucking nowhere.

It's a games company, they should have been procedurally generating levels for something for about a decade now. Spelunky came out in 2008 (yes it wasn't the first, but it's around that time indie+proc gen was popular)

I mean, lootboxes as gambling for kids is more dubious, at least to me, than programming gambling games for adults, or working for a gambling company.

at least they have some level of legitimacy and some (feeble) attempts at damage prevention, compared to the alternative that they may take, which would be going straight into the arms of the black market and all the even worse shennanigans that comes with.

same view as legalised drugs, safe injection sites, etc etc.

EDIT : no one cares, but re reading this, the idea is also that instead of a black market for gambling, the adults can turn to a government regulated, standardised "safer" gambling

Things like "Fiat stands for "Fix It Again Tony"" etc.

The Doctor and another time traveler (the master?) were talking to each other about who went back in time earlier and set up or undid traps for the other one, over several iterations

things like : Well I went back in time further before you set up that trap and undid it and placed my own

I knew you'd do that so I went even futher.... etc etc
