I'm so happy Valve pushed the Steam deck the way they did. Didn't expect many games, let alone, Helldivers 2 to run on Linux but it runs first try. No tinkering, nothing.

You don't eat three meals a day because you have no money.

I don't eat three meals a day because I want to lose weight.

We're not the same.

When Baldur's Gate 3 came out our group of friends wanted to start a game together. Since one of our friends, living about a kilometer away, has shitty internet it was faster for me to download the game myself, copy it to a USB stick, have it driven over by another friend, copy it onto the friends PC and verify file integrity than downloading it.

German internet in a nutshell.

So yeah, IPoAC would've it's purpose.

Für alles mögliche gibt es Regelungen. Und dann gibt es sowas. wild herumgestikulierend

[-] Senseless@feddit.de 86 points 7 months ago

There are several:

  • DIN EN ISO 12 625-4: 2005 (Dry tear resistance and perforation resistance)
  • DIN EN ISO 12 625-5:2005 (wet tear resistance)
  • DIN EN ISO 12 625 -9:2005 (Puncture resistance)
  • DIN EN ISO 12 625-3:2005 (Paper thickness in use)
  • EN ISO 12 625-8:2004 (Water retention capacity)

Yet there seems to be no standard for the size or number of sheets in a roll.

Weiß nicht was du hast, ich hatte aufm Campus häufiger nen Kater.

Scheisse man. Dann planst du extra deinen Urlaub da herum, freust dich Monate lang drauf.

Hey,

I'm not exactly sure if this post is even belonging here but why not just give it a try?

As you probably know Netflix went from "love is sharing a password" to "want to share passwords? fuck you! pay us extra!". Because I used the Netflix of a friend and that's no longer an option I'm looking for alternatives.

As much as I like the idea of having a small server or NAS here and just download whatever, that's currently not an option because it would simply be too expensive.

So before I quit my own Netflix account I used a Turkish VPN, entered my credit card data and payed about 6 Euro for 4k Netflix. The problem when I try to go the same route right now is a) For some reason even though I have a Turkish IP, the site still uses US $ and b) You seem to need a Turkish phone number to verify that you're indeed Turkish

Do you know a way around this?
