Wow, auto tldr couldn't summarize anything. What a worthlessly short article. And the best example they've got is medics providing medical aid? C'mon, I know I shouldn't expect much given how short this is, but this is weak and embarrassing. I didn't expect much when I saw the source was called the Jerusalem Times, and I am still underwhelmed.

Yet another crime amusing enough to make me question if we need to get the court involved.

If only. If only self scan was the only way this came up in my life I would be so much happier.

God, this photo. It always makes me think someone attached the wrong size face.

I'll offer another potential reason why this poor guy is shaved; if he's got a condition that needs a topical cream or medicated shampoo or similar, then this guarantees the stuff gets right to the skin, where it's needed. His skin looks fine, but you never can tell with fleas. * tiny rimshot *

You're probably right. It's not something I thought about in the moment since I was so insulted by the astroturfing and I'm not a fast enough typer to give them all my thoughts anyway. I mean, I didn't even get to call them on real money meaning real reviews. If you believe that, I've got a (real) bridge to sell you!

Not sure if this is the best place for it, but here we are. The Indeed listing is already gone, so I can't refresh my memory, but they'd made it sound more like a customer service role. The grammar was a bit of a red flag, but I thought it could have been second language issues, so let's see where this goes. Thanks for wasting my time, guys! And apparently the time of around sixty other people if Indeed is accurate about that. I can still report your job posting even though it's gone, though, so that makes me feel a little better.

"Jews were already genocided once" Right, I forgot that gave them the right to commit one free genocide themselves.

(/s, in case that wasn't clear)

Yes, that is the point, Tesla.

The people who put this up are not paid enough to risk challenging anybody on this. They're not crazy, they just need money to survive. Their bosses, on the other hand... Yeah, I don't know. It's amazing that it can make it through as many hands as it must have and nobody says "Are you sure?" Or maybe they did and they just kept being shut down.

I don't think you understand what makes for good entertainment. Hint: you tend to need a conflict in a story. I wonder if "controversial shit" might be a place to find interesting conflict for your stories?

Also inclusion is not the same thing as pushing an agenda. Gay people are just people. They're allowed to exist in a story without it necessarily having to mean something.

I think with your bikes example, one of the factors is also that riding a bike is considered one of those fundamental skills in our society. You learn it early and internalize the rules of the machine. When bikes were knew, we absolutely had more tolerance for risk, so we didn't really care that people were getting hurt learning the ropes, and now that it's a staple we take for granted that people will be guided early on by more experienced riders. That's just not the case for something new. There isn't the widespread understanding of the device or any early training. It also helps that a bike is mechanical, so it's a bit easier to predict than something electronic, and of course the difference in safety standards now vs when bikes were new. So yeah, if bikes were just becoming a thing, we probably would feel different about their level of safety.

But I agree that anyone who wouldn't wear a helmet on one of these probably doesn't have much to protect up there anyway or is a literal child.

Venison has a similar linguistic history, originally being any wild game meat before narrowing to be specifically that of deer. I wouldn't be surprised to find out they did it in lock step. It would make sense, anyway.

Thank you for indirectly leading me to discover the book title "The Frugal Wizard's Handbook for Surviving Medieval England". Even if I never work my way to finding out anything further about this corner of literature, that title certainly tickled me.
