So far...

Obviously still has fair share of dumb stuff happening with these systems today, but there have been some big steps in just the last few years. Wouldn't be surprised if it was much spookier a decade from now.

In general, good to use as a tool to be taken with grain of salt and further review.

Might've just been the glass slipper my hands needed then. Felt like a peak optimization of the sony layout, least in my mitts.

I know several folks who prefer the offset Xbox style, but I always appreciated the more symmetrical design of PlayStation. Thumbs were same height on controller for FPS or fighting genres, which I did a bunch of back then. Didn't mind offset thumbs for other games like God of War. I think the designer in me also appreciated sony's cleaner aesthetic as well.

Back in the day, I think it was Logitech or similar who redesigned a PlayStation controller with some minor ergonomic tweaks. It was a masterpiece. This was back in maybe PS2/PS3 era.

Sounds see if any modern versions exist. I'm still a Sony controller purist, having never really fallen in love with Xbox like so many others.

Fully, a MASSIVE amount of what I'm into now came from Tony Hawk games and [adult swim] and the trajectory that put me on. [adult swim] was for sure the MTV of my generation.

By the time I was watching MTV, it was still some TRL and music vids, but also a big dose of Room Raiders, etc... And it eventually fell out of fashion. [AS] definitely had their finger on the pulse of what the cool cats were to tho. Such a hip scene. I still vividly recall a bump for Boondocks featuring Flying Lotus' song Massage Situation that felt mind blowing.

Weird to think where I'd be without either.

Holler for Predecessor, the spiritual successor to Paragon.

We having fun out here, jump in, the waters fine!

Yo, heard. Reminds me of something familiar on my end as well. Nice when there's a lil bit of wiggle room in a system like that. Gotta have a functional team though that can appreciate that work hard play hard work-life balance thing.

Relatively recently got a decentish gig after only working "good bad jobs." While the corporate culture shock is still abrasive at times, nice having some actual benefits and shit -- other than being able to call in "sick" to fuck off or hang with the boyes without care or consequence. Have a decent stack of mandatory personal/sick days that renew annually.

I can already tell I'm gonna be getting mighty ill around the holiday season, something definitely brewing.

Absolutely rage inducing. Care to name and shame the big company?

That's the curse, man. Finally got fun money budget (kinda), but also got zero damn free time. Don't even have kids! Where the hell is all the damn time going?! HOW is it the last week of August?!

Definitely would keep the gear to try and share with the kids. Old music tech is dope! Old tech in general, still quite cool. Loved hitting retro games on the thicc floppy back in the day. Or whatever other gadget pops would have around. Cherished times.

Tossed a hefty chunk of change on a Maschine+. AKA fancy beat pad for finger drumming/music production that can operate as standalone device. Did catch on sale, but still a hefty investment.

While not as "responsible" as other things I'm saving for, it's been a fucking blast! Always fun having an easy way to kick beats without schlepping a full kit, and tbh I have so much more potential for making weird noises with the pad.

Pretty sure he's in Sandy's dry bubble dome during this scene.

Lolol I also own a bidet, regularly clean, and apparently eat more fiber than some of y'all. 😂

No doubt I'll have some worse than others, but I assure you I'm not coming back to no bio hazards after one flush.
