Just like on boost for reddit, youtube changed their api for this, that's why it no longer works. Ruben is gonna have to implement an old youtube player just like most apps are doing to allow youtube videos to play.
Boost for lemmy is now out, might wanna redo that poll.
He released it officially on my daughter's birthday 🎂
I'd just rename it
Sync for lemmy

I'm a mod but the app not being developed anymore made me uninstall it.
Of course, friend, been waiting patiently for this release.

That's not it, he's very silent on lemmy compared to reddit
