If everything was in cans people would cry because they can't close them or whatever. In fact, many items that were previously sold in cans are now plastic. Also, money... Some Millennials are now in their forties. "Now is the time?" Now it's too late. These generations have missed so many milestones. We don't need "progress in delivering policies" - whatever the hell that means. We need to afford a house, food, and other necessities for life. We want to start families of our own. At this point, we all know nothing will happen.

Your kid doesn't need a phone. If you want them to have a phone, then a flip phone that allows them to call you.

In my opinion, the biggest problem with Linux is it requires tinkering in terminal which nearly every non-tech savvy person finds intimidating. Even if it's a simple command. Until Linux has a shiny dumbed-down GUI for everything you need to do, it won't catch on for the average PC user.

Linux has made incredible progress in this area though. But, everytime I use a new Linux install, I encounter errors or something that requires troubleshooting and terminal use.
