I don't recommend others follow suit as the Pixel 5 has stopped receiving security updates. Obviously could use a ROM that has them them but no guarantee or obligation to do so in a timely manner. Pixel 6 however will receive updates until 2026.

You can still install 11 by disabling its requirements with Rufus.

Or could swap to Linux as most of Lemmy would probably tell you.

I had one of those early model PS3s and I loved it. Eventually it died from overheating I think and I got a PS3 Slim to replace it only to discover my PS2 library was now unplayable...

Yes, basically only switches made in the first year can be hacked (without soldering).

They did for Beeper Mini but not for the original Beeper (now called Beeper Cloud) which uses Mac's as a server.

10 doesn't allow bootloader unlocking so I'd have a hard time recommending that with only 2 years of OS updates. Probably would have bought one otherwise

I use Beeper and it's actually pretty good
