NYT and WaPo both have articles about it. Paywalled, so I can see why OP wouldn't link em. I can't even get the wsj home page to load on firefox with ublock, so I can't say whether they reported on it at all, but it's not exactly like nobody is reporting on this.

Honestly, fair criticism, as it is still a $60 game and in my old timer's brain that means everything should be unlockable through gameplay. Unfortunately, that's just not how the market seems to work anymore, so I'll just be glad their extra monetization is only limited to cosmetics and not gameplay stuff as well.

On the upshot, that season pass and the DLC stuff is all cosmetic only. All gameplay additions will be free for all.

Yes, it's called the Apprentice, will come out a bit before the election (was at some film festivals awhile ago, but couldn't find a US distributor for a bit, but recently did) and by all accounts doesn't make him look good. His lawyers were trying to block it's US release for awhile, so I can't imagine it's a trump positive biopic.

The real Chicago pizza is tavern style anyway. And that IS pizza.

I liked Perrin a lot...until Faile showed up in the first place.

But I can't argue your statement.

I love Sanderson, he is my favorite fantasy author, and you are correct about his marvelous job finishing WoT, but he is just not the right fit tonally for ASOIAF. He doesn't even write swear words, and GRRM's books are fairly liberal with the fucks and the cunts. I would however be in favor of Joe Abercrombie or someone with a bit of a darker bent to their writing taking over if needed.
