I would love to swap to Linux if I could play all my games without having to dual boot etc. Steam have done wonders with the proton compatability on steamdeck so there is hope but a lot of my hardware also requires software that is windows only too.

It might be a stupid comment I'm no Linux expert, but looking forward to the steamOS coming out for PC.

I moved from an anycubic mega s which was fully upgraded and worked without an issue for the most part but was a faff to use, to a bambu p1s with ams and oh my god, I actually enjoy priting again. It's not 1 print a day now, it's 5-10 all perfect quality and finish. It's honestly made priting fun again and not a chore. Well worth the jump

Use nova for years, but never found an of the features beneficial. I've been using One UI since moving to the s24u and I have noticed no real difference in functionality.

Dumb news article copying info from a 2012 article posted on Reddit yesterday.

Galaxy s2, after being on an iPhone 3gs, Apple made it increasingly more difficult to jailbreak at the time I did not want to get stuck in their ecosystem so I bailed and never looked back.

As 12 comes out I think we will see a lot of gamers moving to Linux thanks to the much anticipated SteamOS release. Windows 12 will still be "successful" among the general public but Linux usage will skyrocket as Microsoft break that straw on the camels back for the more experienced users.

Personally I will move to Linux, likely start with dual boot in the transitional phase and as SteamOS improves and game publishers realise they need to support Linux and take it more seriously.

Not a Linux fan at all but with my steamdeck usage and setting up Mint on a NUC for a server I've been very impressed with Linux progression. It's still not perfect, needs to be more user friendly but it is getting there.

I would love to switch, I've used Linux a few times but primary use of my machine is for gaming, Valve have done wonders with Proton and the Steamdeck but imo it's probably not quite there yet?

Ahhh, 18.99 I see, bit steep to remove ads. What is going on with the monetisation of this app
