Just so that everyone knows:
Dont download patched apks from the internet. Instead, install the patcher from github and a vanilla youtube APK to patch it yourself.
There are no official sites providing revanced APKs and the unofficial sited may contain unwanted software.
I used yt-dl for downloading, but since I have a decent flat, I switched to just using yt music with adblocker or revanced.
What benefits do torrents of music provide over just downloading from yt?
For me nextcloud was the biggest gamechanger. A raspberry pi and a SSD and suddenly I didn't have to store anything at Google drive anymore. And it's really beginner friendly, especially when using NextcloudPi
Three years ago I made an issue on their feedback page because the android app doesn't really work on degoogled phones, it requires gms for notifications. Still not fixed.
Nice privacy focused App that can't fully be used if you take privacy seriously.
