Of course, Disney Dreamlight still has a premium currency, but at least it isn't as bad as gachapon, pay2win. Apparently, meeting weekly goals on the free Starpath and finding chests will net the player some Moonstone. Starpath is basically like a 'battlepass' except since this game has no combat, it's more like a 'living your life' pass, free and premium in nature. I might pass on Disney Dreamlight Valley because encouraging corpos to utilize these curses in the gaming world feels…counterproductive to me.

I didn’t know that Daybreak had a history of messing up games! Huh, I’m a bit concerned now. However, Daybreak could turn their bad track record around. It remains to be seen though.

As to their business model, yeah, Singularity 6 could never have survived on overpriced cosmetics that used fake currency to induce more spending. That was a dark pattern choice which gave me pause, I couldn’t justify buying a cosmetic item.

Wow, I’m surprised too! I wondered if Palia was going to make it due to the financial struggles Singularity 6 had faced. I’m hoping the Palia business model gets adjusted so that it can trickle in more funding.

From the people I can observe more closely, it's easier to read body language in person and make guesses based on those results. Naturally, my observations of people who I don't really know are going to be off more often than not. As snapshots of human behavior aren't always going to yield anything useful, people can play up all the behavior most would consider 'proper'.

"There’s something that most people unconsciously project in actions, direction of gaze, and other non-verbal cues that often tells me a lot about them before knowing them. Most of the time it’s not bad stuff, just things that people occasional do or feel." That really isn't a psychic power, it's more about observation and figuring out when social cues don't add up. I don't believe in psychic powers, as they haven't been proven yet! I do believe in observation, reading body language and interpreting that. You can get a lot of information from people from that alone. I just said 'vibe' because I don't know how to quantify the idea sometimes.

I didn't feel anything was off with this dude; nothing seemed amiss, which truly caught me off guard. I guess you could say that pedos and other predators have a 'something is amiss' vibe, as I've picked them out before knowing a person long. Like certain customers or fellow co-workers, politicians or other people that spend way too much time on camera. There's something that most people unconsciously project in actions, direction of gaze, and other non-verbal cues that often tells me a lot about them before knowing them. Most of the time it's not bad stuff, just things that people occasional do or feel.

Same, not a famous porn star, but then again I only saw him through the lens of other people. Austin is great at masking the reprehensible part of himself, which is quite a worrisome skill to possess; I'm glad they caught him because the harm CSAM causes is immense.

WTF?! That's completely out of left field, the last dude I'd expect to be tried in court for child pornography charges.

The comment section was a mix of yikes and a clap for the person antagonizing the Nazi snowflakes. The game itself looks good, at least.

ROFL, The delusion is so strong they can repeat bullshit without wincing.

That's pure greed at this point...Jimmy John's is still well in an affordable range. As a rule, I tend to avoid buying food from places with surge pricing as fast food is supposed to be affordable! It's not fine dining and as a result should be priced appropriately; they've forgotten their role in the food space and thus their business will live or die based on future choices.

ROFL It’s tragic that Amazon is in the insurance game…That’s when you know it’s a true dystopian present getting started in full gear.
