Ah, colour me surprised that the spammiest channel on YouTube, which is practically unwatchable without Sponsorblock and has always been my go-to example use case for the addon (which Linus deems "Piracy"), turns out to have incredibly shady advertising practices. And incredibly shady practices in general.

Are they requiring that?

I deleted my main, still have an AD. Guess that will probably be going too.

That's a fairly minor alteration though compared to the redesign required to have a removable battery ..

Pesky EU throwing their weight around giving consumers more rights! --Brexiteer logic

Oh well hopefully we'll (UK) still benefit from it. Easier to design one phone than "EU" and "Rest of world" versions after all.

Musk is a perfect, high profile example of how disingenuous most "free speech" proponents are.

The actual, unbiased, actual-town-square concept of free speech like being able to speak up against your government is good and important, of course it is - but that's not what people are referring to on social media, imageboards, etc. They're referring to being able to slur minorities without being criticised, trying to shut out that criticism by claiming they're the victims being "silenced" (someone taking issue with your bigotry is not the same thing as suppressing free speech, nor is kicking you off a private platform) and wouldn't bat an eye at shutting out "libs".
