Somehow I miss those days. Now you need weeks of training to understand the black magic behind all the build/deployment stuff in whatever cloud provider your company decided to use…

As long as this company's my responsibility (…)

Next slide «  I sold the company, will be effective next week » /s

You’re the actual proof that unpopular opinion does not result in downvotes to oblivion.

From now on : « remember that guy who said he LIKED Starfield… »

I like both switch pro and Xbox controller. But I hate how the A/B/X/Y are inverted between the Nintendo and Microsoft controllers…

Typical “We are sorry you feel that way” bs.

I perceived it as: “We heard your feedback, as such we fired the community manager, and will hire a new one who will be capable of keeping the community quiet”

And the management not getting why it takes so long to « just update some version numbers in Pom.xml files »…

Can we talk about annotations which are broken when you upgrade spring boot ? You are asked to upgrade some old application to the newest version of spring boot, application that you discover on the spot, the application does not work anymore after the upgrade, and you have to go through 10 intermediate upgrade guides to discover what could possibly be wrong ?

Who the fuck validated the bright idea in a management meeting : let’s outsource the mobile project to that Chinese company which produced those trash games ? Those people need to be fired like yesterday. Crazy how a company can sabotage itself…

It’s not the devs who are to blame for this fiasco. The management who pushed for releasing unfinished product is. There were some people sitting in a meeting room who decided that it was a good idea to publish a worthless DLC. Change is needed at management level.

The apology looks like honest but some part of me feels like they are sorry because their strategy for ripping our wallets did not work as expected.

I’m not planning to buy any Paradox game in the future.

Then they can « downgrade » your gaming experience if you don’t pay more. Not liking this. How is it in Europe ?
