Yes they all do, samsung literally had a problem earlier this year

It's about how companies handle issues really and Sandisk has not handled it well.

You could always just get a nvme ssd and an enclosure, might even be a bit cheaper to do so.

You could also just use a battery case, or plug in an existing battery pack you have. Magsafe things are nice to have but not a revolutionary idea.

Magsafe doesn't really change anything, they've literally just put magnets on the back of the phone. The most it's used for is accessories, put the phone on a stand, have a wallet you can take off your phone, or so that their wireless charger stays in place. They still only have 15w wireless charging.
