So, this guys' whole thing is basically, "GRRR, I'M ANGRY. FUCKOFF AND GIVE ME 6 YEARS".

Man, you sure showed that judge and everyone else by being locked up for 6 years now.

I'm just a random person in the world, so my opinion doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things.....but I have never found Trevor Noah even slightly funny my entire life.

I feel bad saying that, because he seems like a genuine, sincere person from what I have read and watched, but his delivery on the Daily Show just comes across as bland/flat to me, I stopped watching maybe 1 year into his tenure.

I wonder what the first thing he will do with Margaret Thatcher will be, in hell?

I do want to own a home at some point before death, so I've cut back spending across the board. I wouldn't say I'm financially worse off, just working as many double shifts as possible (I work in healthcare, this is easy to do right now...also not a good thing) and not enjoying life at all for....3 continuous years now.

$115k needs to be your annual salary in USD to buy a home right now, supposedly, I read that somewhere (maybe CNN?) in the past 2 weeks. I make nowhere near that.

Factor in inflation on grocery prices & everything else, an mind you I shop at an Aldi's and a wholesale club, it's not a very easy time out there. Sometimes it feels like I'm saving for something totally unrealistic.

I am curious how the involved kid turns out years later, but I feel that answer is already known.

The older you get, the more you realize how many incompetent people are in various positions of authority.

It is very nice to see Mozilla doing quite useful/helpful projects from time to time.

Thank you for asking this question. Because this seems like a horrible idea for that part of the world.

I have a friend that uses Tiktok. He has never posted a video on there, just watches crap.

He went to bed one night in August and mentioned that overnight, as he slept, the Tiktok app sent/received 8.6 gbs of data as he slept, the app was closed, screen locked.

I can only imagine what the Tiktok app does if you have a son/daughter with Tiktok on their phone (whether you know or not) and work for a state/federal government.

Very unsettling.

I have ran GNU/Linux since the early 1990s. Practically since it first existed. Distributions like MuLinux, Yellowdog Linux, Slackware, Debian, etc. This generally has lead to multiple difficulties. Sometimes I had to dual boot to get around said difficulties. Around 2010, I got good enough with WINE, software work arounds and alternatives that I didn't need to dual boot anymore. I did like to play various games still back then, but around 2010 Valve's GNU/Linux support was improving (unless my memory deceives me)

This post has made me feel that for the first time, all that struggle was worth it, heh.

On a side note, there's some sort of dark irony with personal ownership dying under capitalism. I feel like the majority of us hate all these subscriptions models, but we keep playing along .vs. becoming cave hermits.
