I love when one of the richest companies on Earth (2nd by market cap, only behind Apple) just doesn't make enough money that they need to consider this bullshit. Fuck this infinite profit growth. It blows my mind that Biden/Congress didn't give the workers all of their completely reasonable demands if they were able to give them even SOME of their sick days. From 3 to 5... I literally don't understand why a governor and state as progressive as it is doesn't go all in and give people a realistic number. Did COVID teach us nothing? Who is lucky enough these days to only be sick up to 5 days a year. And why do we have to earn it?? Give me a law that makes it so that everyone gets their PTO/sick days all at the beginning of the year and uses it as needed.
