It sounds like a nightmare, but I'm sure the coke helped.

there would be no place to put a TV screen that’s visible from the whole seating
That was kind of the point, it was called a "conversation pit"
I just downloaded voyager, it has swipe actions. I'm still using sync, but I'm always looking for alternatives.
I use proton coupled with my own domain and SimpleLogin (which is now merged with Proton) to create infinite custom email addresses in my domain. I then use filters to move the recipient address to folders and I can turn off one of my SL addresses if it's compromised or sold and create a new one.
I wonder if you could use a VOIP number from someone like MySudo for that phone. Or just get a prepaid SIM and you'd have a number that could get the texts for activating Signal.
Don't forget cost, I'm working on replacing mine, but a 30 dollar camera now being replaced by ones that cost around 100 each is just taking time. The ones I have outdoors I don't really care about, but I'm working hard to replace all the indoor ones. For now all my indoor wyze cameras are on zigbee plugs that cut power when we're home.
Depends on where the line is as far as evil goes. Most of the popular password managers are now starting to support storing passkeys.
She also played Martha in Baskets, and I also thought that was her at first glance.
Gotta pay for all those sponsorship dollars they throw at streamers promoting this turd.
Development has been going crazy for the last year or so. I don't regret a single cent I've paid for the nabu casa cloud subscription (not many subs I can say that about). I do, however, regret that I only have so much money to spend on new things to attach TO home assistant and start automating.
I started just with a 2 bay nas that I had a few VMs on... then it spiraled. Back with PIs were cheap it was fun to spin up new stuff all the time. Now an N100 mini-pc is way more cost effective long term, plus you get to start dipping into VMs, LXC, docker, etc.
Not to mention Home Assistant is an entire hobby in itself. 4 more aqara devices just came for me today.
I do feel like I should second the comment that it isn't cheap, but you can do things in bits and pieces that don't make it feel like you're spending your life savings.
Just to play devil's advocate, does that mean any "artist rendering" shouldn't be in a documentary? Documentaries have had drawings, with a disclaimer that it is an artist rendering, for as long as I can remember. Or what about when they hire actors to do a "dramatization" of what happened, how is this different?
