Lol at supposedly asking an open question, while simultaneously stipulating that the open rebellion cannot be mentioned. That’s not how open questions work.

Newer pools have the water intake all around the pool rather than a suction valve at the bottom/side.

What makes you think that? Do you think we are buying made in China artillery shells? Of course the West makes its own. The main difference is that we never expected to need very many of them, because in a typical war the West has air superiority and uses bombs/rockets instead of shells.

The saddest part is that Italian farmland is quickly losing value due to climate change (especially lack of rain). Here is a great alternative source of income for farmers that will also solve the underlying problem. Instead they choose to continue to pollute.

Oh that’s horrible. During the Arab spring, when Assad was literally levelling Aleppo killing his own population and destroying cultural heritage to booth, some people wanted the US to intervene. How could one ever again work with such inhumane colleagues? /s

I am pretty sure my kids would love this, and 35 dollar for a 3day camp is a bargain.

Guessing it is common for the state department to send a representative. Perhaps the Secretary of State since it’s an important neighbour. Since it’s campaign time, you could see others going if they believe it helps their reelection bid somehow ( though I don’t know how), but it would not be unusual if only the US ambassador to Mexico is present. I don’t know of any foreign politician that attend the US presidential inauguration.

Not (frequently) mowing your lawn is one of the best things you can do for your local bee population. Dandelions and other meadow flowers are great sources of nutrition for them. Obviously, don’t use pesticides either.

If you want to become vice president, you should have a prepared answer for this right? Something like, I changed my mind after seeing how Trump handled X while being president, or after meeting him face to face. Sure those would also be lies, but at least you don’t look like a complete moron.

CO2 generally is released in cycles. Wood rots, new forests grow etc. The biggest issue is that we went from slow cycles such as carbon is stored in fossil fuels that VERY slowly release CO2 through natural processes, to extremely rapid release of CO2.

Unfortunately, Israel stands to win tomorrow because right wingers that are usually antisemites, have suddenly decided that they hate Muslims more.

Agreed. Forestation can be a large contributor to reducing climate change, but any scheme that is offered by polluting companies should be viewed with extreme scepticism.
