My brainspace has been highjacked since I was a little kid by stupid advertisers. To this day, I remember ads for products that have disappeared decades ago and that I never gave a shit about at any point in my life.

Why are advertisers allowed to force their shit into my head?

I hate ads. I’m utterly intolerant of advertising.

This. So much this.

And if you can solder you can usually just replace the switches.

I feel like this will only hurt him in the long term, advertisers in general are probably more likely to avoid X in the future. I know I would.

I dunno, a patina can look quite good though, if you like that aesthetic.

If you buy a "smart" washing machine and actually connect it to the internet, you deserve what you get.

The regular Tesla cars have inconsistent panel gaps already, I feel this is a production issue, not a material issue.

And they think AI will be any safer?

Given how deranged things like AI Dungeon are, I can't see this going well.

I was already using Linux a lot of the time when Windows 7 was out, and seeing Microsoft push ads in the start menu, as well as all the other trash and pointless changes that they included with Windows 8+ just confirmed my decision to leave the Windows ecosystem.

I dislike NFTs as much as the next person but this is messed up. Even worse that it isn't the first time. And how the heck did they get their hands on germicidal UV lamps without being aware of the difference, and the safety concerns?

I used to order meals sometimes through these kinds of delivery services but not anymore.

At first they were quite good but then they added extra "service fees" and the markup on the food increased, so did the delivery charge, it's a joke now and I haven't used them for a long time, and there's no good reason to, now.
