So, the President is legally allowed to just kill anyone, but if anyone is resisting, even just saying “if you kill my uncle’s nephew’s father’s roommate and I will seek revenge”, it’s

18 U.S. Code § 1751 - “Presidential and Presidential staff assassination, kidnapping, and assault,” which covers attempts to kill or inflict harm on the President.

18 U.S. Code § 871 - “Threats against the President and successors to the Presidency,” which criminalizes threats to kill or harm the President.

If I need the controller to play in the first place, why not play on the TV?

When I’m on the go I rarely take a controller + clip or a clippable controller with me.

When I was a cab driver, I would have had a controller with me in my bag and position the phone on the wheel in a comfy position while gaming.

Mario run did it great, Pokémon go did it good. Normal Pokémon games and old final fantasy games work too, since it’s not time sensitive. Tilting games work on phones, maybe driving games. But that’s about it. While it may be possible to display all 13 buttons of a controller on a phone screen, it’s just… you can only press 1 direction and 1 button at the same time, no shoulder buttons AND face button.

They should make Kirby and the magic brush or something like that on phones.

Stuff from milk, mushrooms and eggs don’t scream, so do a lot of salads and olive oil, even rice is silent.

And don’t start with those industrial cows that only get to live because of the milk. That stuff tastes like shit. Same with those chickens in cages.

Dude, we’re fat or even obese.

This just makes me angry. You need to write comments and get likes before you’re able to make posts. Most of the posts in that community could pass as boomer-Facebook-posts from what I’ve seen. The quality definitely went more downhill than Tony Hawk‘s Downhill Jam.

But I’ll post my question here: what’s your pre-apocalypse game gems?

New to mastodon, never used Twitter, refuse to use Xitter. Any tips and who and what to follow? And who and what do you follow?

Edit: thank you all for your responses! I’ll definitely check out the accounts you suggested! Looking through hashtags I like and popular ones sounds like a great addition!

The UDS033 from tobenone.com is is pretty amazing when using windows for work at home and a MacBook Air privately. Some annoyances exist, like having to plug the HDMI-HDMI and DP-HDMI cables from port 1 and 2 for Mac down to 4 and 4 for Windows whenever I switch devices. I got around that by getting a set of HDMI-VGA and DP-VGA cables. I encountered a problem where I could not transfer my 80 GB PS2 Dumps onto an external SSD, I got around that by plugging the SSD directly into the Mac. VMs and emulators via the external SSD work fine! It‘s a pretty solid addition to my workspace, can recommend!

My company is very concerned about security, which means that even the Windows we use is so heavily modified it makes any Arch-user jealous. Nevertheless we have the possibility to work from home. I have a full Apple setup for myself, even the TobenOne UDS033 dock to use 2 external monitors with my MacBook Air M1 (works like a charm btw). But here is the problem: the laptop has no Bluetooth. No Bluetooth mouse, no Bluetooth keyboard, nothing. The mouse is no problem since I use my trusty wired gaming mouse from 2014. My problem is the keyboard. I have not found a single one that is primarily for Mac and also happens to work on Windows, yet works wired as well.

I have read that Apple‘s Magic Keyboard works wired on Windows, can anyone confirm this? The rest of the internet is not very helpful.

So do the new posts and everything. But Reddit is a shithole and Omegle got sued to death, online gaming is either a full time job or a money sink, streaming services start to cancel out each other and most of the regular games and their performance suck ass.

Guess I’ll just be productive then.

Wrong answer: Researches who are blind in both eyes only give the medication to participants who are also blind in both eyes, thus making them unable to read the patient information leaflet.

Correct answer: It is a research design in which both the participants and the researchers are unaware of who is receiving the treatment and who is in the control group

If I receive an email on my Mac, then the email address that received it is written out as "To:" So I can distinguish between Gmail and Outlook.

But the mail app on my phone only shows that it is for me "To: FinancesDrone" which is annoying. Is there a possibility to change that?

I have an unlimited 5G plan with 400 Mbit/s on my phone and have to use an external source to update my watch?

M1: the normal one (sh.itjust.works)

Hello!

I’m about to get an M1 MacBook. I’ve got the choice between a $€£ 650 M1 Air and a $€£ 750 M1 Pro. My research concluded: they’re the same but the Pro has a little bit more beef when it comes to exporting videos.

So far I’m thinking to get the Pro, because I might need 2 external monitors someday, but I make this post because I think that people here have been using the devices for longer than reviewers.

What’s your opinion to those devices?

Edit:

Okay, they’re about the same, so I’d‘ve gone for the MacBook Air M1. BUT: since I scoured the internet ever since I’ve found a MacBook Air M1 with 16 GB of RAM for 800. And Papa knows that this is more good.
