Imo the graphics of ds2 still hold up. So aside from bugs caused by new hardware it doesn't need a remake.

According to this review ( I don't know what model you have) the hdr isn't that good. I would be be wary of any hdr with a laptop monitor, but I haven't bought used a laptop in quite some time so they could have gotten better than what I remember.
