As a reincarneted aristocrat, I'll use my aprisal skill in the world 1
2/10 terrible. MC plays Slave gatcha, or luxury slice of life. Not even worth picking it up. Terrible story. Nothing happens.

In the land of Leadale 1&2 5/10 nice adventure, but lacks drama or tragedy. MC is empty and purposeless, but author handwaves this in 2 page depression arc. (Sulcking in bed for 3 days) It has some interactions beetween characters but they are shallow as a puddle.

It gets worse later on, binged the Manga a while back and read further than I wanted to see how bad it gets. He isn't even good at anything outside of picking up new slaves. He has to have everything spelled out for him, the MC is so incompetent if the story suddenly made him unable to eat breakfast on his own I'd actually believe it.

The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects Volume 1 Chill Slice-of-life about a former (Hero) Soldier retiring from a long war. The MC isn't the brightest bulb in the shed but it's played OK imo. So far he doesn't seem too dense although it's a bit early to judge that after a single volume. Plenty of side characters so far with little work done with them, hopefully the 2nd Volume does more with them. Some semblance of foreshadowing here and there but nothing too obvious or concrete imo which is perfect, it would be boring if I could plot out the entire story from Volume 1. The magic system introduced is very limited but well thought out, effects so far aren't bent to produce desired results plus they fit well into the origin of the magic with some weaknesses already shown. 7/10

Free Life Fantasy Online: Immortal Princess Vol. 3 - It took me all week to slug through this. The prose is one of the most stilted I've ever seen. It's a constant parade of "I did X. I wish Y. I absorbed Z. I see A. I go talk to A." and so on... There is no flow to the writing whatsoever. No narration of events. It reads like a diary entry of a 5-year-old. - 3/10

The Ephemeral Scenes of Setsuna’s Journey, Vol. 2 - Good second volume. There is still some of that obvious emotional manipulation going on but it’s not as hamfisted as in the first volume. Definitively looking forward to the next volume. - 7/10

Lucia and the Loom: Weaving Her Way to Happiness Volume 1 - Dahlia in Bloom is one of the series I really enjoy and this spinoff is every bit as good. The chapters are build episodic with each being its own small mini-arc. There were some that I liked better than others so I just average the final score to a 8/10.

Oh, I think I will pick up "Dahlia in bloom" then. That sounds interesting.

Just a heads up: Dahlia in Bloom isn't episodic. Only the spin-off has that structure. I would say though that you don't need the parent story to enjoy this spin-off. Lucia has her own life and the shared characters are introduced properly from her POV.

But if you are interested in a comfy isekai with a slow burn romance (really slow burning) then I wholeheartedly recommend Dahlia.
