It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:
Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.
Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.
Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.
Oh, gosh. Was just talking about him to one of my friends. If you want reccs by him, I like "Dance or Die," and "Freak Night."
A van slammed a door into him and THEN he got run over, just a failure on multiple levels, jesus.
They said he passed due to head trauma. I'm really curious if he was wearing a helmet. I can't imagine a helmet can protect you from a box truck.
My nightmare is getting doored while riding next to parking.
I always try to ride a door's length away from cars and leave extra space in case someone pulls out abruptly
Still a good idea to wear an e-bike or DOT/SNELL rated helmet if you're going faster than 15-20 mph, especially in cities.
Humanity has suffered a great loss. Go make your fantastic music up there, friend.
When I look at the streetview of where the crash happened, the parking lanes seem to have a wide buffer for the door. I wonder if he was in the parking lane to avoid riding in a lane with large trucks. This sucks.
