Thing is this isn't the first time. He did more challenges with awards but once the video was done he took up and left off. Smiling to the bank with that uncanny valley expression.

He’s not sorry for anything honestly. He will continue to do bs like because of this fans. It maybe funny and cringe now but it will be interesting if he tries to run for office or alines with a political party. “ hey guys I just bought an election!”

Replying to a fan's complaint on X, Donaldson admitted it "definitely isn't the experience we hoped they'd deliver" and promised to make it up by inviting everyone affected to his studio.
I feel like this could have been on purpose. If it wasn't he would have offered refunds.
I doubt it. Inviting to the studio is probably way cheaper - not everyone will do it since people would have to travel, and even when they come, there's not much cost to a quick tour or whatever.

I'm assuming the hotel rooms were not paid for by Mr. Beast.
Never been to Vegas, but I've heard it's obscenely expensive, and the owners jack room rates when an event like this happens.
"So, just wait in your room, that you're paying for, to get your goodie bag."
That sum it up?
If there’s one thing Vegas resorts don’t want you to do, it is to stay in your room. You can’t be losing your ass on the casino floor up there.

I thought it would have something to do with that. Thanks for the info. I'm not a gambler, and I'll probably never end up there, but good to know. Have a good one.
I'm not much of a gambler either, but I live in a casino town, and I've gotten lots of drinks comped by sitting with $20 in a video poker machine while I drink and shoot the shit with my friends.
Just remember to tip well, and go in with the mindset that any money you're betting is the cost of entertainment for the evening. It's a fun way to spend an evening, and plenty of times I wind up going home with money that I would have just spent at a bar.
Edit: also if you're into sports, the sports book is the way to go. If you wager $10 in what's called a parlay on 3 different games, you can win $160, so even games you otherwise didn't care about suddenly become interesting. Betting in three baseball games can be a great way to kill a day hanging out in the summer

I wish more people thought this way. When I go with this mindset I’m never upset when I lose. I tell my friends it’s like an adult arcade, you pay to play the game not to win the prizes.

Most places will try to keep you there if you’re a whale.
Or they think you’re a whale.
Or you just lost a certain amount to them. Generally, if they’re comping you free drinks, it’s because it’s seen as more profitable than letting you walk.
Of course waitstaff might also comp you drinks because whatever- you’re a good tipper, they like you… you’re not a raging douche…. Or something.

In many places, yes. Though "free" comes with the implication that you still tip your server, because something about the way the alcohol laws are written make it so the server is the one "paying" for your drinks. So keep making it worth their while, and they'll keep the drinks flowing.
I’ve gotten free drinks just playing the slots. Same w poker but that was $100 buy in. Both were like >10 yrs ago tho

Travelling to Vegas and staying in a hotel there are actually both pretty cheap. The hotels want you to stay in their hotel so you'll gamble in their casino and not someone else's.

This is the type of ghing that he shouldn't need to appologize for. The appology does no good. An appology is for if you said something that could be misinterpreted, or you made a bad choice thinking it would play out differently.
This is just an intentionally poorly planned event. They wait in their hotel room for 2 days. Then they get chocolates. In no scenario does that play out differently. Those bags will always contain chocolates if you plan for them to contain chocolates.
So what's the appology? "I'm sorry I ripped you off"?
Also, $9 T-Shirts? I'm confident that if I go into Walmart, their cheapest T-Shirt is $20. So how low quality are these T-Shirts??? Especially since I assume they also have some branded print screening on them.
I agree with most of what you said, but you are severely overestimating the cost of t-shirts at Walmart. They start at $4 for plain or $7 for graphic tees from what I can tell. Even band tees and things like Mickey Mouse are in the $9–14 range based on a cursory glance on their site.

Oh, he 100% is. Not what he says with his words, but what he says with his dead eyes and propped up smile. He's not chasing a dream, he's running away from a nightmare of fame that has left him a hollow yet addicted for the high of fame that is no longer achievable. He is a man who shot for the moon and, instead of landing among the stars, found himself stranded on the cold, lifeless rock, drifting along forever, alone, exactly where he said he wanted to be.
