The sad thing is, once he really hit it big, he could have just done good will stuff and kept the money fucking rolling in.
He didn't have to do * emotions to all of everything * this.
He could have hired a PR firm and a capable management staff, still had fun circle jerking his friends but actually be a positive force for society.
Everybody he has running the show is under educated, incapable, and unashamed of all this.
With that kind of money he should have a office building full of people working this shit out.
there's no way this dude hasn't hired a PR firm and management consultants. this is just the brand image he has now. remember that this dude used to make videos like counting to a thousand.
dude got a firm to tell him he's Willy Wonka and now he has another firm sculpting that image for him behind the scenes. Mr beast and his crew are just the front end operations that can't manage to stop fucking up on their own right.
The ghost kitchen venture and the chocolate venture were handled by external companies certainly It was just one of those slap your name on this thing.
But look deeper into the mismanagement of the events and the videos. Especially the last couple Vegas stints. Any event company would have had the first responders properly lined up and dangers managed. Especially in Vegas they do this kind of shit all the time.
Every single off the wall of event that he stages is just poorly managed. When people start asking questions and pointing fingers it ends up with him and his actual crew. There aren't any adults in the room.
no, they absolutely have teams and teams of suits working for them. people who get blamed are just the front end of the company, but this guy absolutely has a whole back office working for him.

As I recall, he’s spent the last several years sanding down his whole personality as much as possible so as to become as inoffensive as possible so he can cast the widest possible net for an audience.

Oh, he 100% is. Not what he says with his words, but what he says with his dead eyes and propped up smile. He's not chasing a dream, he's running away from a nightmare of fame that has left him a hollow yet addicted for the high of fame that is no longer achievable. He is a man who shot for the moon and, instead of landing among the stars, found himself stranded on the cold, lifeless rock, drifting along forever, alone, exactly where he said he wanted to be.

Replying to a fan's complaint on X, Donaldson admitted it "definitely isn't the experience we hoped they'd deliver" and promised to make it up by inviting everyone affected to his studio.
I feel like this could have been on purpose. If it wasn't he would have offered refunds.
