While I wholeheartedly agree this is "meh" compared to everything else, this isn't nothing.
If you were to try to get a job with even basic security clearance for a site in the US, and it came up that you were hacking at 19 years old, you would not move forward.
It's a fact-based merit that under normal circumstances would result in termination if it was found to have not been disclosed previously. So pointing it out is still important.
All that being said, disclosure is the key. If it was disclosed, it's a judgment call, and, well...

I can't be outraged at DOGE for something I would do/currently do. That would be pretty hypocritical.

The only problem I have with this is that I refuse to think of some teenager hanging off of Elon's coattails as famous. In four years when the next president kills DOGE, nobody is even gonna remember who this kid was.

Nowhere in the article does it say anything like that. It’s pretty straight forward reporting - the guy ran some websites and distributed pirated books and software, and hacked a few websites. No judgements are passed, it’s just factual information.

I said torrent because it is common to download & share content. My point was that I really don't fucking care if some pirates content. It doesn't influence how I judge them as a person.
