For those wondering what the fuck a monad is, it's simply is just a monoid in the category of endofunctors

[–] Aarkon@feddit.de 1 points 11 months ago

I honestly read “endofuckers”, and even though I know what a monad is, I think this misreading serves the memes community just as well.

The Monad is also the name Gnostics chose to refer to the creator deity as they saw the God of Genesis as evil and a pretender

Jethro Tull’s Thick as a Brick at 44 minutes, or their A Passion Play at 45 (each was an entire vinyl album on both sides for a single song, though some CD/mp3 re-releases later split them into multiple chunks for easier navigation).

44 well used minutes if you ask me

Is this a "name all the long songs" post now?

If so, I'll add The Gathering, "How to Measure a Planet?" at 28:32.

Golden Palominos, Prison of the Rhythm Exuberance Is Beauty Mix

Way back on my radio show, that was my "I'm in the can or searching stacks for music" song.

I'm loving the ludicrousness of runtimes in these comments!

I just recently got into Bell Witch, I was surprised by how quickly Mirror Reaper flew by, especially considering the depresso-sadlyface genre, but it was killer. Check it out if you haven't heard it, don't be frightened by the single-song format.

Just do a single track of a Dead show that goes in and out of Space. Pretty sure you can hit an hour easily if not two that way.
