My heart goes out to the victims of this terrible tragedy and I look forward to the preliminary and full reports from the NTSB so we can learn from this loss of life and ensure it doesn't happen again.
Trump is such a performative shitstain and his populist ilk can fuck right off. To place blame for an accident while bodies are still strapped to seats in the water is abhorrent. The NTSB is amongst the foremost investigative bodies in any domain, full-stop. Let them do their work and they will provide answers. Of course, this becomes more difficult if the sitting POTUS is a self-serving piece of shit that will politicize ANYTHING he can to maintain power.

Trump, like most politicians and CEOs, is a psychopath. He doesn't understand or feel empathy. More disturbingly, he doesn't feel compelled to pretend he does.
His lack of empathy and whatever rage is burning inside of him, and the fact that he's the most powerful man in the world, makes for a dangerous cocktail. There was a little mustachioed man from Austria who also made the same cocktail with the same three ingredients 92 years ago and we all know what happened.

I mean, it technically is. Eventually.
I tried to control my laughter in front of my Trump loving father, but hearing him reply to the question "[how do you know it's DEI's fault]?" with "[it's totally possible]" sent my sides into orbit. That's elementary school level rhetoric.
How does this even make sense? Either someone is qualified to fly a plane or not. It's simply not about employing someone for the sake of diversity, if the requirement is a pilots licence.
But it gets at an even more stupid point. Obviously Trump wants white men flying planes, because in his mind they're the best at doing that job. Any other demographic performing that role is part of the woke mind virus or some shit.

Or direct air traffic. Or drive a truck. Or operate machinery. Or do accountancy...
If the person is qualified, by definition they can do the job. Whether they're in a wheelchair or 3-ft tall is irrelevant: if their disability prevents them from doing the job, then they're not qualified and they're not even hired to begin with. Otherwise, they're qualified and their disability has nothing to do with their job abilities - and none of your business to boot.
Trump always talks about merit but all I see is an ableist old man who unfairly targets of people based on their looks, sexual preferences and challenges in life that have nothing to do with their ability to perform at work.
it's nice to know that the u.s. president is subscribed to the quartering.
