It looks like the resolution changes in some locations, the font looks strange and what is wrong with the ear?

there are some AI tools to "increase" the quality of a photo and they are not perfect. I believe the original picture was in low res and AI just boosted some areas and made that thing with the ear.
Looks like the original image was cropped closer and they used something along the lines of Photoshop's Content Aware Fill to try and expand the image.
asking the important questions, and exactly why I came to the comments. I need answers.

IDK about it being from ai. But I've seen the kids face before, infact I run across it every once in a while. This looks more photoshopped than ai. Body of an adult, but the face is from a real kid.
