Ultra realism mode should involve a boomer with piss on the front of their pants squawking about chrome being slow while you're under a rack fixing a punch down. In the background, your phone rings. It's a middle manager placed by an investment firm asking if you reset the modem yet.
I had this happen a lot when I fixed gambling machines. No I'm not putting a fucking winner in.
It's even dumber because they would have no idea even if it were possible and you were.
I would also be waste deep in the machine and they get pissy I'm not going to crawl out to tell them what a dying plant cold figure out.

Physical switch, huh? 2 guys and I worked an ISP in college as a start-up. 300 external US Robotics modems on the wall during the first year. THAT was physical switching, haha. Will give this a shot.
