Like so many other two-year-olds, I was a big fan of two time Primetime Emmy Award-nominated Howard Hessman. I had to pretend I was Dr. Johnny Fever with crappy Fisher-Price record player.

volume control with on and off switch

Every parent knows this is the most impostant feature

Seconded by removable batteries.

I have a very very loud zoo animal choo choo train with no off switch or volume control as a gift for my kid. To make matters worse we opened it in the bedroom! It is the best of features.

First of all, that Fisher-Price record player was legend. Like much of GenX, it was my first, yet surprisingly decent. I’ve had many turntables in my day, none is dearer to my heart.

Second, that show was kinda dull. That record player was crap.

Because I was born in 1979

But, like may GenXers, I love Joel and MST3K

Where does the mic cord go? Is it actually a 3.5mm jack, to pug into real equipment?

Mic has an 8.5-foot cable that terminates in a standard quarter-inch audio jack, the same kind you'd use with an electric guitar.

It plugs right into the "console." In this photo the microphone is obscuring where it plugs in, it's directly to the right of the volume dial.

It's hard to read but most of this info is on the box.
