FYI: Always online, even in single player. Game will be useless once Activision turns off the authentication servers.

Thank you for posting this. I would have bought it to play on my steam deck
Same. I guess I'll wait until they change that.
They won't
Their loss I guess.
Or just use an emulator to run the originals..?
🏴☠️
yeah maybe just pirate these, the roms are definately out there
Only for the Switch port. The EGS PC release was never cracked, AFAIK.
Apparently the steam version is now, however.
This information now makes me wanna buy that game. Like so many, I don't mind paying for entertainment, I just don't want to be suddenly without access to the game. Activision is so stupid.
Yeah, if I get it, I'll probably buy a license and then play the cracked version. However, I'm not likely to go through the effort, so I guess we'll see.
If I'm able to make the game work down the road, it's enough for me.
The guy in the game really looks like Tony Hawk, weird coincidence.
Wait until he tries to rent a car.
Not sure if I want to buy it to support games coming to steam or skip it after it took so long.
Skip it because it's an always online singleplayer game.
Gross!
It came to Steam because of the Microsoft buyout. Same with Diablo 4.
You still have to install that annoying Blizzard launcher, I guess?
What do you find annoying with Battlenet? It's no worse than Steam.
I'm okay with steam because:
- basically everyone can sell their games on Steam (*conditions apply)
- it has a (working) offline mode
- they're putting a lot of effort into gaming on Linux
- family sharing
- it let's me integrate external games
The Blizzard launcher is just for the few games Blizzard is selling. It asked me to go online way too often. Maybe every single time, I don't remember exactly. It's a bit like that Rockstar launcher. I don't see any value in it besides auto updates.
Is the original soundtrack there?
Is this better than 2x?
