In Korean, *cooked rice *is λ°₯ (bap as in Bibimbap). Meal is also λ°₯.
We often say: λ°₯μ λ¨Ήμ΄μΌ μ§μ§ λ°₯ λ¨Ήμ κ² κ°μ.
Which translates to: I only feel like I actually had something when I have rice.
But can also be translated to: I only feel like I actually had rice when I have rice.
It's not an actual meal when there's no rice in Korea. At least the Korean language suggests that.
I told my then 8 year old son that I only liked long grain rice. He asked me if I was a ricist. Definatly mine.
