As a Linux user: fuck Teams.

As a person who has to use Teams for work: fuck Teams.

As an EUC engineer deep in the Microsoft fustercluck: fuck Microsoft. Fuck teams.

That shit's abhorrent. All the ex-mobile developed stuff just doesn't translate to classical computer methodologies (probably largely due to the very different UI/UX and OS design differences)

The fact that Microsoft Teams 🤮 contains a feature called "Teams" where actual teams can create a Team, and at Microsoft the teams working on that feature probably have a Team to discuss the Teams feature, suggests that there exists a Microsoft Microsoft Teams Teams Teams' Microsoft Teams Team.

We don't use the Teams feature in Teams in my work team. My team teamed up and decided on group chats instead.

[–] Jakeroxs@sh.itjust.works 3 points 4 months ago (1 children)

The teams teams are better then the chat imo, because of threading being available (even though it's worse then Slacks)

[–] joyjoy@lemm.ee 2 points 4 months ago

Unfortunately when my team started using Teams, the threads were no different from regular messages, so people would reply to others by creating a new thread.

At work the teams feature of teams is blocked. Only sys Admins can create and add people to teams. None exist because no one has ever requested to use it, or knows that it even exists.

Can I have it without the Teams?

[–] Andromxda@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 4 months ago

Without Teams, it would be Microsoft Microsoft Microsoft

[–] imaqtpie@sh.itjust.works 3 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Yea I just meant like if you were ordering food or something. "I'll have it without the teams"

[–] Successful_Try543@feddit.org 2 points 4 months ago

Yes, and in the original that's impossible.
