The last time I was put under (wisdom teeth), I said "good luck, team! I believe in you!" as the anesthesia hit and the last thing I remember was the surgeon guffawing.
And then everyone clapped. I'm assuming, anyway, as I was already knocked out

That is an anesthetic (it isn't)
"Hang on a second, nurse. What we should probably use is marijuana. That'll sufficiently sedate the patient for surgery."
"Marijuana?..." 
"We don't have time for questions. We need marijuana now, as much of it as possible! Like a big bag of it."
I am not really affected by cannabis in my brief experience with it, I just got the tiniest bit tired. I'd like if it knocked me right out and I could sleep all night.
That might be for lots of reasons, as far as I know. I'm far from being an expert, though
It's the medication I take which has an antagonist effect to substances is why I found out.
