Just forked over $25 because I have nothing to do at work. I've had a game idea kicking around in my head for a decade. Maybe it's time to try making it.

Nice, good luck!
I've started making my way through the 2.5D course, it's been great so far! Very good content for using C# w Godot
Good to hear. I would prefer C# since I know enough of it.
Anyone know how current this is? Is there some sort of community that can help troubleshoot if needed?
Godot 4 is brand new. So its probably current. I don't know if its current to 4.2 tho
These highly ranked ones more often than not get updates if a Godot update really breaks the tutorial. If not, being one or two versions behind the most recent one is not that big of a deal, especially for a tutorial project.
That's what I'm hoping for, got burned in some Blender courses a few years ago when I didn't do some due diligence lol. Thanks!
Godot 4 came out a year ago so they're all new courses. They do have a forum for assisting people that own the course where a teaching assistant helps out. I haven't tried any of their Godot courses but I have finished their Unity course and the experience was really good.
Gamedev TV has a great forum and community, but it is a lot of students helping students. Teachers will occasionally respond for help too but it's not guaranteed.
That said I've had awesome experiences with their content. Both their blender and unreal courses set me up with strong fundamentals to move forward in game dev.
They came out in the last few months, starting right after the unity scandal
Thanks for posting this here, just purchased it. Keen to dive into the 2D course and the Shaders course!

I'm having a blast what th this tutorial, and adapting it to fit my own isometric strategy clicker. Thought it would be the right place to plug this course, it's discounted for sub 15$ prices regularly!
