Yup. Only reason I still have Reddit is the quality porn. As soon as I can get the same elsewhere, it’s dead to me.
The one account I kept active over there is my porn account because I’ve spent a lot of time curating my feed and can’t get that anywhere else. Not to mention, Reddit doesn’t get ad revenue from the porn subs.

I would agree if Onlyfans creators put even a shred of effort into their content. Most of all it is just them sitting in front of a camera for a few minutes.
They aren't making money by making porn, they are making money by fostering parasocial relationships with people desperate for intimacy.
Most of them anyway. And no, I never subscribed to any, I pirate it. And the noise to content ratio is like 99 to 1.
yes, the lessening of porn quality is more reddit-like.
Reddit is already showing pinned messages in nsfw posts about using only the official app to browse adult content. Or so I've been told.
People who post or interact with porn also post other stuff.
Tumblr died after they killed off porn, because porn users left the site. That made Tumblr less interesting for people who followed those porn users' non-porn content, which meant that some of them left. Which in turn made it worse for people following that second group, and so on.
The same might happen the other way around. One can only hope.
