its actually the other way around. Funimation bought Crunchyroll but decided to consolidate under Crunchyroll. then decided to cut people off from the content they paid Funimation for.

So all the Funimation digital copies are being wiped from existence. It was a crap app, but they can't even blame the license for running out. They could still provide everybody's paid for copies, but instead they've just decided they want to pretend they're another company... Streaming was a mistake.

Oh I'm there don't worry. I briefly considered paying though just to make new releases easier. My currently airing show setup needs improvement
