Don't forget Syncthing, I always suggest it first since it doesn't require a server or advanced knowledge to work.

I believe the answer is always culture. Once better videogames are discovered it's likely that they will hardly go back to the bad ones (so that the problem of prohibitionism - which is only a temporary solution - can be solved).
- A good Invidious player with locally stored datas.
- AntennaPod fork with improved local music management (tags).
- A dedicated good PeerTube app.
At this point what about donate to fediverse like Lemmy to get an ads free experence anyway but without beign forced by corps?
This is gold. PeerTube experience is a mess right now, we totally need 2 or 3 big instances like here on Lemmy.
