Hi, I personally think splitting Ascendance of a bookworm into its parts is a bad idea. Imho it lessens the footprint this community has. EG someone that only reads the manga or watches the Anime might not post their cool Artwork or funny memes in the Light novel sub or vice versa. Which in turn makes the sub feel less active and not as much fun to post in.

Valid point, I also wasn't happy with the decision but I think it currently is the better option for spoiler prevention (there is currently no spoiler tag). I split the communities up because that is currently the easiest way to prevent spoilers (I also hid the WebNovel community from the local and global feeds because there even titles can be major spoilers)

I'll look into repurposing/reusing the nsfw tag to create a spoiler tag but for now this format will stay I'm afraid. Lemmy lacks some desperately needed features for "larger" (more than 5 people) communities so we have to make do.
