This really takes me back. I couldn't even count how many things I wanted to be as a kid. Ended up studying chemistry in college and then becoming a computer programmer. But overall I feel like my succession of hobbies and interests have always defined me WAY more than my job has.
Hey, chemistry to programming pipeline buddies! Sounds just like me, although I took university far enough that it did define me a bit more.
