Shouldn't that last line be :
"Just one loonie, eh ?"
Nope, "toonie" is the nickname of the two-dollar coin and perfectly fine in context. (I suppose it's also a double-whammy, since I don't recall the US having a two-dollar denomination . . .)

Plaisir, sans problème. Aussi j'ai recherché pour la possibilité d'une erreur sur le mot "loonie" et en fait ce n'est pas une erreur :

Oui lol. Quand la pièce de 2$ est apparue, nous avions le "loonie", la pièce de 1$ avec le huard dessus. (Loon en englais, d'où le nom loonie.) On l'appelait ainsi aussi pour le différencier du billet de 1$ toujours en circulation.
Pour le 2$ on ne savait pas trop comment l'appeler. On avait le penny, le nickel, le dime, le quarter, pendant un moment le half dollar, et enfin le loonie. Ça prenait un nouveau nom pour cette nouvelle pièce. Et comme "two" a la même sonorité que "loon", quelqu'un a eu l'idée du "two-nie" écrit "toonie" parce que c'est juste plus simple à lire.
